NATURE WITH PEOPLE

Nature With People is a new series of paintings showing the complex layering of people and nature, each altering the other. Heavy with symbolism, this narrative contemporary painting series draws the viewer into a colourful story of the struggle of people to dominate nature while nature holds her ground. Each painting features a person out of doors in some degree of natural environment layered over with cultivation or urbanization.

Boy in a Cornfield is the first painting in the series.

It has been juried into the Ontario Society of Artists’ Northern Exhibition. It has been chosen by the gallery curator as the invitation artwork.
