ABOUT

Clare Ross is a Canadian artist whose work has garnered international acclaim and numerous awards. She has also exhibited with and won awards from the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Art where she now serves as president. Clare’s spectacular photographs, printed on archival watercolour paper, imaginatively showcase nature, actual and reconstructed. Her reconstructions explore the opposing desires we have all felt, to be fully immersed in nature and its beauty, but to retain the many modern comforts we’ve come to love. AESTHETICS AND QUALITY

From the moment I click the shutter to the moment I ship your artwork, I am committed to providing work of high aesthetic value and excellent quality. I work with print partners who use premium quality and archival materials, and we partner to exceed your expectations in every area, whether it is a single card or original limited edition artwork.

My fine art photographs are printed locally by Dimitri at Image Foundry, Toronto. For my limited edition artwork, Dimitri uses Hahnemühle photo rag. Hahnemühle’s highly awarded Digital FineArt Collection is the worldmarket leading paper range today. Galleries, museums and collectors trust in Hahnemühle papers which are “Made in Germany”.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

My posters and cards are printed locally by Hume Media, a company with Forest Stewardship Council accreditation which is an entire production process which must meet strict standards for inventory control, documentation and materials wastage. They use inks and toners that are non-toxic and they use a green initiative to manage waste and recycling of everything from paper to hot exhaust air from the digital presses. Dimitri at Image Foundry follows eight steps to maintain a green approach to business and printing which includes management from paper and printing to packaging, lighting, solar power back ups end electric vehicles. I am proud to work with both companies to bring you the best quality work.

I just spent a lovely hour on your website absorbing each work, reading all thoughts and perspectives, and filled with admiration on all fronts. You have the eye that revels in the beauty, and the poetry that explores the significance of life’s offerings. Fabulous colour harmonies. Powerful compositions and ambience. Wonderful. Uplifting! Again, many thanks for today’s gift.
